Choosing the right size

A litter box should be about one and a half times the length of your cat, from nose to the base of the tail. Older cats and kittens need a low entry. With more than one cat, the usual rule is one box per cat plus one.

  • High sides: keep scattered litter inside the tray.
  • Stepped entrance: a low, curved opening with a ridged step in front.
  • Scoop and bin: a scoop in a side holder and a hanging waste bin with bag rolls.
  • Side handles: moulded handles to lift and move the box.
  • Rounded edges: smooth, rounded rims.

It is a large box at 85.6 by 64 cm, so measure the space first. The step, scoop holder and bin fit onto the box when it arrives.

Care and cleaning

Scoop daily into the bin. When you change the litter, empty the box and wash it with warm water and a mild detergent, then dry it before refilling.

Is it suitable for a kitten or an older cat? The front entrance is low and has a step in front of it, made for cats that cannot jump in easily.

Does it need assembling? A little: the step, the scoop holder and the bin fit onto the box.
