Choosing the right size
A litter box should be about one and a half times the length of your cat, from nose to the base of the tail. Older cats and kittens need a low entry. With more than one cat, the usual rule is one box per cat plus one.
Open tray, clear shield
- Clear splash shield: around the back and sides; it lifts off for cleaning.
- Low entrance: an easy step in for any cat.
- Grid step: a removable grey grid along the entrance catches litter from the paws.
- Scoop: hooks onto the shield wherever it is handy.
The tray is 18.5 cm high with the shield on, and the open top leaves room for a larger cat to turn around.

Lift off the shield and take out the grid step, empty the tray and wash the parts with warm water; dry them before putting the tray back together.
