Choosing the right size

A litter box should be about one and a half times the length of your cat, from nose to the base of the tail. Older cats and kittens need a low entry. With more than one cat, the usual rule is one box per cat plus one.

Two ways in, one hood to lift

  • Front flap door: a tinted brown flap, 22 x 20 cm, with a sitting-cat outline pressed into it.
  • Top entry: a round opening 18 cm across with a hinged tinted lid.
  • Vented top: rows of small holes across the top of the hood.
  • Hood tilts back: it lifts at the front and folds back from the base to reach the litter.
  • Scoop included: a grey slotted scoop.

It takes a floor space of 51 by 36 cm (20.1″ by 14.2″) and stands 34 cm (13.4″) high, so check the height under a shelf or worktop before a cat uses the top entry. The box is PP plastic.

Care and cleaning

Scoop daily and change the litter as often as its maker suggests. For a full clean, tilt the hood back, empty the base, and wash the hood and base with warm water and a mild detergent; let both dry before refilling.

How do I change the litter? Tilt the hood back from the base, then empty and refill the base.
