Padded Dog Vest with Back Zip and Double D-Ring

A padded, quilted vest for dogs, zipped along the back, with two D-rings for the lead and a stand-up collar.

How to measure your pet

Measure the back length from the base of the neck to the base of the tail, the chest girth round the widest part of the ribcage and the neck girth. The chest girth decides the size; the back length may be a little shorter than your measurement.

Quilted padding, one zip, two lead rings

Back zip: a full-length zip runs from collar to hem, so the vest goes on without pulling it over the head.
Lead rings: two metal D-rings sit on a strap beside the zip and take a lead clip.
Quilted body: horizontal quilted channels give the vest its padded shape.
Stand-up collar: a black collar rises round the neck.
Colour band: a red, blue, green or pink band crosses the chest and shoulders of the black vest.

The vest leaves the legs and belly free, so it covers the back, sides and chest only. The fabric and filling are not stated, and it is not sold as a rain jacket. The sizes are the maker's letters, and there is no XL.

Frequently asked questions

Can I clip a lead to it? Yes. Two metal D-rings sit on the back beside the zip, and a lead clip goes on either ring.

How does it go on? Step the front legs through the two openings underneath, then close the zip along the back.

Will it keep out rain? It is a padded vest with a smooth shell for cold walks. It is not sold as a rain coat, and the maker states no water rating.
