Choosing the right size

Most cats sleep curled up, so the inner size matters more than the outer one. Measure your cat curled up, or lying down from nose to the base of the tail, and choose an inner size a few centimetres larger. Cats that like to hide choose a cave or a bed with high sides.

A tree to hide in

Cone shape: a tall Christmas tree cone that covers the pet on every side but the entrance.
Faux-fur entrance: a thick white faux-fur trim round the round opening at the front.
Pompom tip: a white pompom on the point of the cone.
Felt decorations: the red bed carries Santa, a snowflake, trees, holly and a gingerbread figure; the green bed a red bow, a Santa hat and a star; both have small coloured pompoms.
Plush lining: soft plush on the inside walls and floor.
Dotted base: the underside is a dark fabric dotted with small raised dots.

The felt decorations and pompoms sit on the outside as part of the design, so a pet that chews fabric is best watched with it. It suits cats and small pets that like a covered hiding place rather than an open bed.

Is the inside soft? Yes. The walls and floor inside are lined with soft plush, and the red and green beds each have a lining in their own colour.
