How to measure your pet

Measure the back length from the base of the neck to the base of the tail, the chest girth round the widest part of the ribcage and the neck girth. The chest girth decides the size; the back length may be a little shorter than your measurement.

Five festive knits with a roll collar

Roll collar: a deep ribbed collar folds over at the neck.
Pull-on fit: no zips or poppers: the jumper goes over the head and the front legs slip through two openings.
Ribbed edges: the leg openings and the hem are finished in rib knit.
Festive details: the red snowflake design has a hood with a pompom, and the grey elf design carries red pompoms.

Sizes run S, M, L, XL and 2XL; these letters are the maker's own and come without centimetre figures. The photos show the jumper on a toy poodle. The green design has MERRY CHRISTMAS knitted across the back.

The jumper comes in the maker's letter sizes S, M, L, XL and 2XL, from smallest to largest. The maker gives these letters without centimetre measurements, so we publish none against them.

What do the five designs look like? Green is a red, white and green Fair Isle with reindeer, trees and snowflakes. Grey is an elf with red pompoms, Red is a white snowflake knit with a hood, and Pink and Navy Blue carry knitted hearts.

How does it go on? Pull the collar over your dog's head, then guide each front leg through its ribbed opening. There is nothing to fasten.

Does every design have a hood? No. Only the red snowflake design has a hood, finished with a pompom.
