A lead that gives a little

  • Bungee section: gathered elastic webbing that lets the lead stretch from 115 to 178 cm (supplier-stated).
  • Padded end handle: a soft-lined loop for your hand on longer walks.
  • Traffic handle: a moulded grip near the clip to hold your dog close.
  • Stitched edges: light-grey stitching runs along both edges of the webbing.
  • D-ring: a ring near the grip for a bag holder or a key.

Brush off dried mud, or rinse the webbing in lukewarm water with a little mild soap and hang the lead up to dry. Check the stitching, the clip and the bungee before each walk and replace the lead if any part is worn.
